The catch?
All revenue generated from search queries will be used to launch a microlending fund for third world nations.

“The 21 Steps” is a spy novel written by Charles Cumming that takes place (literally) on a Google Map.
Pretty awesome idea.
The We Tell Stories project is staying busy releasing all sorts of crazy shit like this.
For instance, a narrative from a fictional character taking place over blogs and Twitter.

AP reported yesterday that Verizon and AT&T had won the bids on the “C-block” (not a prison thing, suprisingly) airwaves up for sale by the FCC. Google, who was also in on the bidding, lost out- or so it seems.

Recently I was in a meeting with our development lead discussing SEO, and the running joke became the concept of hiring Black Hatters to improve Search Engine Placement.
We then discussed the almighty Google and their ability to blacklist black hatters. The obvious fear: Google’s ability to essentially remove a website from the internet.
